HELENA LLOVERIA
RESIDENT TEACHER
When we perceive beauty in all existence, we naturally learn to care for and protect them.
We become more compassionate, and that is why I like to see the world through the eyes of an artist, recognizing beauty and meaning within forms of therapeutic movement such as Qigong.
My journey with Qigong began in 2020 with teacher Master Lee Holden, as a way to navigate my own physical challenges during a demanding period of motherhood. Through personal healing, I felt called to train as an instructor and share the therapeutic benefits of this practice with others. Today, I teach Qigong, Tao Yoga, breathing and meditation in my classes.
The science behind these practices deeply interests me. More and more professionals from fields such as psychology and neuroscience are studying and implementing these methods to better assist their patients.
Qigong is a transformative path that honors life, cultivating respect for nature and encouraging sustainable ways of living. One of my deepest intentions is to be an uplifting presence in the lives of others; a nurturing, shining light.
In this new stage, I am honored to be part of the extraordinary team of teachers at Qi Live Center, founded by Yaniv Zohar, where I am learning the nuances of Tai Chi and expanding my understanding of energetic healing through martial arts.
ROOT LINAGE: Certified in Qigong through Lee Holden, within the Taoist tradition transmitted by his teacher Mantak Chia. Through my studies at Qi Live Studio, I also learn within the classical Chinese arts Qigong lineage of Zhongxian Wu, transmitted through his student Yaniv Zohar.
PRACTICE WITH HELENA
CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
-
A Qigong session with an emphasis on gentle Yin stretches and core strengthening, complemented by seasonal restorative flows and a short integrative meditation at the end. This is a complete treatment for the body and mind that gradually supports greater mobility, joint health, flexibility, and the strengthening of the core and pelvic floor, while also calming the nervous system and restoring inner balance.
During the Tao Yin series and meditation, you can expect some standing practice as well as work on the mat, where you may be seated or lying down, allowing the body to soften, release, and receive.
At the end of each session, participants are invited to spend a few moments journaling to gather their thoughts and reflections. Tea and journals are available at the center for your use, creating a nurturing space to integrate the experience.
