ESTHER MO

VISITING TEACHER

Founder of Moqi | Cultivation Practitioner | Writer

Esther Mo is the founder of Moqi, a wellness founder, writer, and practitioner of Eastern cultivation arts. Her work is rooted in a simple inquiry: How can we live in a way that is healthy, deeply kind, fully awake, and intimately connected to the whole of life?

Born between cultures and shaped by years of observation, study, and practice across America, China, and the Himalayas, Esther’s path was transformed through Qigong and yoga. This direct experience of healing became the foundation of her life’s work and the Moqi Method—an approach to flourishing through the integrated alignment of body, energy, mind, relationships, and purpose.

Her studies and practice have included Daoist cultivation lineages, Tibetan, Mahayana and Theravada Buddhism, and Classical Yoga. Through extended periods of silent retreat, pilgrimage, and service in places including Mount Kailash, Mount Zhongnan, Mount Shasta, and the Amazon, she has explored the nature of consciousness, compassion, discipline, and humanity’s relationship with the natural world.

Esther holds a Master’s degree in Business from New York University and is a gold medalist of the U.S. International Martial Arts Competition. She bridges Eastern methodology with Western somatic science as a NASM-certified trainer, registered weight management specialist, certified yoga instructor, and music healing practitioner.

For over 15 years, she has worked with more than 1,000 private clients and reached thousands globally through integrative healing programs. She founded Moqi in New York in 2023 and expanded the platform into China in 2026.
